Venturing North in the Flying CD Player

I have never been a fan of the Maurocco Bar, until now, but walking into the Castlemaine Jam for its five year anniversary, found much entertainment. It had already been an entertaining ride up the Calder, with Captain Chaos flying at zero feet and a sultry voiced sheila from GPS HQ banging on about turns left, right, and straight ahead whilst the Captain amused himself with the technology in his new car. Buttons for everything. We headed straight for the Maurocco Bar and found it much improved and with a large audience ready for an afternoon’s music making.

The monthly Jam session is now firmly ensconced in the Castlemaine Social Calendar. Congratulations are due to John Hannah, and Ken Turnbull, amongst others, for wisely ignoring everything we said and creating a great Jazz Jam and to Mauro for developing a great venue.
